Huguette Guilhaumon is a specialist in the management of change in organisations, opinion making and media relations. She has a track record of innovations in her field and has built professionally and economically oriented coalitions that left a lasting mark.
She is is a member of the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques (SQPRP). Between 2006 and 2008, Huguette Guilhaumon has been working for the office of the Honourable Lawrence Cannon in the position of communications advisor.
Prior to this, from 1992 to 2006, Huguette Guilhaumon was senior partner at the offices of ScienceTech Communications. As such, she was responsible for major accounts: Apple Canada, SAP, Hydro-Québec (centrale nucléaire de Gentilly-2)… and managed Bell canada writers’ teams during all Quebec Governement major tenders (Bonjour Québec, Connexim, RICIB, RTSS, RETEM…).
From 1988 to 1992, she worked as vice-president at Burson-Marsteller
Prior to this time, she ran her own public relations practice in Ottawa and delivered, over the course of this period, numerous announcements and speeches as much for members of council of ministers as for chief executive officers of private companies.
With a university degree in political science, Huguette Guilhaumon worked for close to ten years for Radio-Canada and the Canadian Press as journalist in public affairs. She also contributed articles on a regular basis to Quebec business and technology magazines. She received the 1987 HM Award in the BUSINEE category from the prestigious National Magazine Awards Foundation.
