Robots against the coronavirus

The coronavirus crisis will have given robotics a boost. For years, we’ve been talking about the benefits of robotics in healthcare. But new technology was trickling in. Everyone was talking about the dehumanization of the doctor-patient bond. In short, we were afraid of robots. Everything changes with the onset of the coronavirus crisis. The symbol of our change in attitude may remain the opening of a fully robotic hospital in Wuhan, at the heart of the coronavirus pandemic. To know more, listen to Jean-Guy Rens’ column on Radio VM dated April 20, 2020.
